Look out, Rob Pattinson - LeAnne the vampire slayer is out for blood.
LeAnne Autry, a 26-year-old homemaker from Tennessee, recently embarked on a pilgrimage to Vancouver, where Pattinson is shooting the Twilight sequel, New Moon.
Autry is joining the growing ranks of teens and full-grown women who have made the Twilight book series and movies their singular obsession.
She is far from alone. Social networking websites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter have helped create a huge community of Twilight fans who track Twilight author Stephenie Meyer and the young actors who play their favourite characters in the films - including Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen.
Vampires hold a special place in the romantic fantasy world of women in western culture, according to University of British Columbia English lecturer Gisele Baxter....

Okay, I am 27 years old and reading a book about a high school romance that is meant for girls 10 years younger than me... but I have to say - I am enjoying the series!

I am about to finish the first book and I am going to read 'New Moon' right away. I feel a little silly but who could resist Edward Cullin !!
